Lightning...

When I was a child. I always assumed, using my child logic, that thunder must come from the clouds crashing into the ground. They only ever did this on the horizon though for some reason...

Future...

It scares me at times when I think about the rate at which our technology grows and evolves. I own a mobile phone, not even a fancy model, just a base model smart phone. (HTC Wildfire which I paid £25 for) This phone, PHONE, is thousands of times more powerful than a computer that would have been around ten years ago.

THIS IS SCARY SHIT!!

Life's too short...

People get too caught up in the idea of having to portray themselves along the lines of what people consider socially acceptable. I find this chronically unfair. Just do and be who you want. If people judge you, don't let it bother you as life is too short to get bogged down in such inane tripe. 

The Small Things...

I see so many people letting the inane parts of life bother and stress them. I see people creating dramas just to have something to bitch and moan about. I don't understand the way some people look at life. It's silly. I like to sit back and just enjoy the small things in life. Contentment is my only aim in life. Here's Mr. Mozart to explain it in a more visually eloquent way than I, your humble narrator, can.

Borders...

Today I had another comic featuring Mr. Mozart planned, but I had a dream last night and thought I should draw it for today's comic. Apologies for the lack of a comic yesterday. I just got a new laptop and spent the day being in love with it.

Autumn blues...

I don't know what it is about the change of seasons, but they always affect me. The coming of Winter and Autumn always gets me a bit down and I just want to hide under my duvet until the butterflies come back out again...

Mr Mozart...

Mr. Mozart makes a return to Skuzzmunch. Carrying on again with yesterday's theme of time travel. Mr. Mozart is in fact THE Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who through reasons that will be explored in future comics, has been travelling time and wound up in whatever era Skuzzmunch is set in. I guess around now(ish). He is wound to the edge, loves his coke and refuses to play music.

He is a character I've been playing with for the last couple of weeks and have some silly little plots (YES!! Skuzzmunch will now be featuring a plot!!!!) for him in the coming weeks.

(I'm also rather pressed for time tonight so don't have the time to colour it. This is what my comics look like with only level correction as I use a shite camera phone to take a photo of them before 'shopping' them. It's much quicker than a scanner, and I don't always have a scanner at hand.)

I make hundreds of these every year, it's become a compulsion. If I could make them sentient, I'd have an army that'd papercut the holy fuck out of you. I would then strap a thousand of them to a deck chair and fly through the stratosphere like a king!!

The simple pleasures in life...

People want things they don't need. We all have our vices. I like to sit back and just enjoy the little things in life.

People take life way too seriously, trying to justify everything they do. Just have fun, be spontaneous. Today's artistic style is called hungover.

Today I got FIRED...!

So, I lost my AMAZING job today. When I say amazing, it involved me coming home stinking of dishwater and losing chunks of my fingers on a daily basis. I didn't think I was entirely useless at what I did, I mean it took all the mental acuity of a cucumber to do it, yet I still buggered it up. To sedate my angst and misery, I've come up with the ONLY conclusion as to why I got fired that makes sense to me.
